About the Owner
Meet Lydia Haurez (she/they), a licensed mental health therapist who specializes in working with children and youth between the ages of 3 and 25. With 5 years of experience in the field, Lydia has a passion for providing support to LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals. As an openly LGBTQ+ therapist, Lydia is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all clients to explore their identities and feel seen and heard.

Lydia has had a passion for supporting and helping others since a very young age. When she was 4 years old, and others would ask what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would always respond with "in a band and a psychologist." While she didn't truly understand what a psychologist was or why she wanted to be one, her passion for working in therapy never wavered.

Lydia uses a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each individual. With experience in addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD, Lydia fosters a collaborative therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to achieve their goals and build a strong foundation for their mental health.

Whether working with young children, teenagers, or young adults, Lydia brings a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude to every session. By utilizing evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Play Therapy, Lydia supports clients in developing coping skills, building resilience, and improving their overall well-being.

If you're seeking a mental health therapist dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals, Lydia may be the right fit for you or your loved one.
